Since 2021, we have supported the BioInnovation Institute (BII) with our programme and due diligence services, playing a key role in designing and executing a pre-seed venture lab that delivers critical insights into founders’ capabilities across market discovery, competitive positioning, tech development, protective IP, regulation/GTM strategies, production, team development, and financial roadmaps. Acceleration for
NATO DIANA
The NATO DIANA programme is an organization established by NATO to find and accelerate dual-use innovation capacity across the Alliance. DIANA provides companies with the resources, networks and guidance to develop deep technologies to solve critical defence and security challenges, from operating in denied environments to tackling threats to our collective resilience. Since 2023, we have supported NATO DIANA by co-designing a dual-use innovation framework implemented across the Alliance. We customized our approach based on feedback from founders, investors, industry, and military end-users, ensuring a program that delivered maximum impact over 4-6 months. Notably, our initiative was the only program out of the five test acceleration sites to secure additional NATO funding for 70% of its cohort and the first ever to receive NATO innovation fund support of up to €5M.

The iGEM Foundation
The International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition is a global event with 7,500 participants per year that has trained over 80,000 students from 65+ countries in synthetic biology. In 2020, We launched iGEM Start-ups with programs in Boston, Paris, and Singapore, connecting hundreds of synthetic biology researchers with investors, corporate partners, and successful alumni through venture creation sessions, acceleration programs, and robust mentor and investor networks. Our global program covers every aspect of synthetic biology entrepreneurship—from co-founder matching and biohackathons to acceleration, mentoring, and investor matchmaking, with strategic partnerships including YC and SOSV—empowering iGEM founders to transform their groundbreaking research into impactful ventures.
